The HB SLIDE showing, discovered in 2018, is located 940 metres southwest of the HECATE BAY showing, on the southern tip of the Bedingfield Peninsula, 11 kilometres north-northwest of Tofino, B.C.

In 2018 a follow-up program of soil and rock sampling was undertaken by Catface Copper Mines Limited to expand the survey coverage in the area of the Hecate Bay Zone. In addition to extension of porphyry mineralization west of the Hecate Bay showing, a recent landslide exposed a small quartz-diorite outcrop with intense quartz-chalcopyrite-pyrite sheeted veins. The small exposure is strongly oxidized but contains biotite-silica alteration and elevated Mo, As, Au, Co, and W. Rock sample 11216 returned 1.61 per cent Cu, 11.9 grams per tonne Ag, and 0.13 per cent W; sample 11217 returned 3.89 per cent Cu and 121 grams per tonne Ag; and sample 11218 returned 4.69 per cent Cu, and 0.2 grams per tonne Ag. Samples were taken across veins for approximately 30cm. Veins were 3-5 centimetres in width and spaced approximately 20 centimetres apart.
